Travel Agent

Brief, board, agenda: turn where-and-when into a plan you can follow.

The Travel Agent takes a trip from idea to itinerary in three steps: a short brief (where, when, who, and in what style), an idea board the agent generates for those dates, and a locked day-by-day agenda you can export. Everything saves locally as you type; no booking, payment, or live-price action is ever attempted.

What you might use it for:

  • A foodie weekend in Barcelona: brief it in a minute, like the ideas that appeal, and lock a three-day plan with restaurants and a day trip.
  • The family fortnight: set a Relaxed pace and a daily budget, and let the board propose things everyone can actually do.

Who it is for: anyone who enjoys the trip more than the spreadsheet: solo travellers, couples, and families who want a plan without a planning evening.

Where to find it: the sidebar, under Travel: Travel Agent (/travel-agent).

Watch first: travel-agent.mp4 (captions toggleable in your player, or load travel-agent.srt). The screen is a real recording of the product; the narration is an AI-generated voice.

The brief

Click Plan a new trip and fill in the essentials on the Where to? panel:

  • Destination and When: the two required fields; everything else is optional and can come later.
  • Who: solo, couple, family of 4, a group of friends, or your own wording.
  • Trip style chips: Relaxed, Adventure, Culture, Food & drink, Family, Budget: pick any mix.
  • Preferences & budget: daily budget band or a specific figure, trip pace, and any must-dos.

The trip record is created as soon as you start, and every field autosaves. When the destination and dates are in, click Show me ideas.

  • Adjust plan unlocks the board again if you change your mind.
  • Export the finished itinerary as PDF, DOCX, or Markdown.

Limits and FAQ

Does it book anything? No. Trip data stays local to this workspace, and no booking, payment, or live-price action is attempted. It plans; you book.

Can I keep several trips? Yes: every trip saves to the landing page's Saved trips list with its status, and you can resume or delete any of them.

What if I only have rough dates? Dates can be nights-based while you decide; the board generates as soon as destination and dates are in.

Which model does the planning? Whichever model the lane is configured to use (visible in the top bar).
